Fun, Laughter, and a whole heep of God's Grace!
This past weekend was spent with these AMAZING ladies for a time of Fun, laughter, rest, and reflections of God's grace and goodness. It was such a great opportunity to thank the Lord for His work in each of our lives and how our imperfections become our strengths in Him.
As you begin your week it is my prayer that you will, first, take the time to look back and reflect on where you have come. The things in your life that seemed to be bad, or not what you expected, have more than likely turned out to be huge blessings. We are all who we are today because of our past. Both the good and bad are being weaved together to make us into the people God intends for us to be. May you see yourself as someone incredibly unique with more potential than you could ever imagine. Don't ever forget that the good, bad, and the ugly, make you unbelievably beautiful when placed in the hands of Jesus!

My comments don't tie in to this week's post but I want to share them here anyway because they fit with the theme of your blog "Strong Journey". This week's weather and my schedule finally came together and I was able to complete all of the runs outside. When I ran outside on Tuesday, my turtle pace was a bit discouraging, but I chose to focus on the accomplishment of completing the miles outside. On Thursday, I was a few seconds faster, but even more importantly, I finished the miles feeling invigorated and prepared for the long weekend run. Because I have substituted elliptical sessions for long runs for about 5 weeks, I challenged myself to complete 7 miles on Saturday. I am so thankful for the strength of mind, body, and spirit to continue on this wonderful journey.
